Absolutely love this butterfly snuffle mat! My 1-year-old dachshund Luna is OBSESSED with it.
Dachshunds are natural foragers so I wanted something to really work her nose and brain, and this is it. It's challenging enough that it keeps her busy for a good 20 or so minutes, but not so frustrating that she tries to chew or destroy it. She has to really snuffle through all the folds and little pockets.
The quality is great, colors are so cute, and it's a good size. Tons of little crevices to hide goodies. Highly recommend for any doxie parent! Luna gives it two paws up.
I didn’t realize how much snuffle mat design mattered until I tried this one! The deep folds actually hide the kibble — I timed Ruby, and a meal that takes her less than a minute from a bowl takes about 10 minutes in this. It’s also surprisingly heavy, so even though the suction cups don’t work on my old hardwood floors, she doesn’t push it all over the room. I love the cotton webbing, it holds her whole meal, and I can throw it in the washing machine. Really well-made and thoughtfully designed.
