Kept him entertained but the quality wasn't the greatest

Initially it seemed like good quality, but the suction cup never worked on any surface, and my 4 month puppy was able to eat through the fabric and material. Since the suction cup never worked, there wasn't much snuffling as he would simply pick it up, and shake out the food.

We wanted to take a moment to clarify the situation fairly for everyone reading. Every story has two sides, and we feel it’s important to share ours openly.

Our small team was on a business trip in London from Sept 27–Oct 1, which caused a short delay in replying to customer messages received during the period — something we clearly communicated in our emails upon our return. Unfortunately, Frank left a 2-star review with no supporting proof within 6 hours of sending their first email on 29th Sep, before we had a chance to respond or even understand the concern in depth. Then a follow up email sharing frustration regarding ignoring Frank's email for 5 days and asking for a refund.

After returning, we responded promptly and politely, asking for photos or a short video showing the suction cup issue and the type of surface used — something we always do to assess and resolve issues accurately and fairly for all. However, no such proof was ever provided by Frank upon multiple requests.

Instead, Frank shared images of the mat chewed in multiple spots (4), which clearly indicated physical damage from the pet, not a manufacturing defect (Physical damages are not eligible for a refund as per policy, we are afraid). Our mats are third-party safety tested, designed for durability — but like any enrichment product, they’re not indestructible against a determined pup. That’s why we include clear care and supervision instructions with every order.

We always stand by our products and have happily provided refunds or replacements to customers whenever genuine issues were shared with proper documentation - pics / videos showing the issue. In this case, despite multiple requests, we simply couldn’t verify the problem of the suction cup.

As a small business, we respect all our customers deeply and value fairness and transparency — but it’s disheartening when small businesses like ours are judged unfairly without context or cooperation. We truly hope this clears the air.
